Joseph has many years of managerial experience in direct investment, private equity, pre-IPO and accounting. Prior to joining the Avantfaire, he was an executive director and investment director of HX Innovation Capital Management Co. Limited. He also worked for several listed companies as investment manager focusing on portfolio management on both public and private companies. Prior to that, he worked in a family office called USI Partners Limited and a private equity fund and was responsible for investment in private equity deals, pre-IPO and fund-raising activities. He started his career with Deloitte as an auditor.

Joseph graduated from the HKUST with a BBA in Accounting and Finance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FCPA).
